    How to create business directions

    What is this?

    Business directions reflect the organizational structure of the company. It is possible to draw an analogy between the system's business directions and the company's departments. For example, HR Department = HR business directions, Logistics Department = Logistics business directions. Business directions are used to define user permissions. To start working, add users to the existing "Operations" business directions (created in the system by default).

    Initially, the system has 3 basic business directions. You can't delete them, but you can rename them as you like:

    1. 1001 Operations.Only a Region level user, who is in the "Operations" business direction (new name is not important, the main thing is that this business direction has the number 1001) will be considered a regional manager (director). Similar to the Division level user.
    2. 1002 Not defined. Users not related to the "Transactions" and "Store managers" business directions are added to this business direction.
    3. 1003 Store managers. This is an automatic business direction for the "Store managers" level users. As soon as a user is assigned the status of a "Store manager" in the system, he is automatically included into the "Store managers" business direction. From now on, the tasks of the manager will be created based on the audit results of his store. In order to assign the status of a "Store Director" to a user, enter the sub-block of the "Users" menu, open the list of users, select the necessary user and check the"Store manager" item in the user card.

    If necessary, you can add additional business directions. For example (HR, Quality Control, Security Service). 

    For initial setup, add users to the existing "Operations" business direction.

    Creation

    To add a new business direction, click the CREATING NEW BUSINESS DIRECTION button. This will open a window for creating a new business direction.

    On this screen, enter the name of the business area and click Create business direction. Click Cancel to cancel.

    Edit information about a business direction

    To view/edit the information about a business direction, click on it in the list of business directions and the panel of viewing its information will open.

    In the Information tab you can edit the name of the selected business direction. If necessary, check the Can assign tasks to the Stores option. Click Save changes to save the changes.

    A user in a business direction who doesn't have the Can assign tasks to Stores option will not be able to select stores from the drop-down list when creating a task in the Tasks module.

    In the Geolocation tab, you can set the settings that determine the system operation parameters when informing the user about the beginning/end of the audit outside the facility (i.e. the value of the "Error in determining the geolocation (meters)" option in the "System parameters - Tablet" according to the GPS device).

    After selecting, click Save changes.

    The Users tab displays users "linked" to the selected business direction. To search for specific data, fill in the fields and click the Search button.
